How Does a Battery Thermal Management System Work

During battery operation, heat generated by the cells is transferred to the coolant circuit through the battery cold plate. The circulation pump carries the heated coolant to the plate heat exchanger, where the refrigerant absorbs the heat and lowers the coolant temperature. The absorbed heat is then released to the ambient environment through the condenser
